My Sister In-law...

Have I ever told you about Laura?

She's my sister in-law and a best friend, she married my only brother and I am so lucky to have her as part of my family.

She just blessed me recently with my first niece Samantha Daniela DiMatteo.

There will more about Samantha in another blog, because this one is all about LAURA!

Laura is Beautiful, funny as all hell, smart, witty...

She makes you feel so good when you first see her, she will always flood you with lovely compliments.

And notices everything new or different about you.

I know what your all thinking "well so is my sister in-law" but did your sister enter you in a contest and win you a trip to THE MAYAN RIVIERA?

So one morning after a very hard and depressing week around 7am I wake up to the phone ringing, I'm thinking "oh boy someone calling this early can't be good".

I answer the phone unwillingly...."Daniela its me Laura" (my minds going a mile a minute, thinking something wrong with Samantha...) "Don't hang up" I entered you in a contest at CHFI and you won a trip to the Mayan Riviera." I respond "what are you talking about Laura don't play with me...when the radio host from CHFI responded " Daniela your sister in-law Laura wrote us an essay explaining the hard year your family has had, and you won the trip."

She did this for us...she unselfishly loves us so so much and was so empathetic to our hard times.
